Fun Facts
  1. If I had to choose a carreer outside of psychology, research, or academia, I would be a hairdresser! Since I was a pre-teen, cutting hair has been a fun hobby of mine, not only doing my own hair but also giving haircuts to (consenting) friends and family.
  2. My Spanish is a blend of my parents’ accents from Uruguay and Mexico, creating a unique mix that I’ve learned to embrace over the years, rather than attempting to conform to one specific accent.
  3. After my high school cross country days, my relationship with running has been on and off. Recently, I’ve enjoyed being intentional about maintaining consistent running habits by trying out various evidence-based behavior change strategies to keep myself motivated and active, and to see behavior change research findings in action!
