Bio
Jennifer is the Assistant Evaluation Coordinator for Faith in Action. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Global Health and her Master’s of Art in Global Health from UC San Diego where she focused her graduate research on analyzing the role of promotoras as puentes de salud y cultura between health systems and Latinx communities across the U.S.
Jennifer completed her field experience at UC San Diego’s Altman Clinical and Translational Research as a graduate intern for Mas Fresco Plus, a research study that aims to learn how nutrition incentives affect access to healthy foods, and consumption of more fruits and vegetables.
Beyond academia, Jennifer has experience working with underserved communities on issues like substance use prevention, mental health, and community wellness. Across diverse roles, she has supported research and program development across academic, clinical, and community settings. Her work is rooted in cultural responsiveness, collaboration, and a strong commitment to long-term, community-driven solutions.
