Bio

Carolina earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from San Diego State University in the Fall of 2023. She joined Dr. Arredondo’s research team as an undergraduate research intern in November of 2022 on Fe en Acción.

Since joining, Carolina has contributed to the implementation of health programs in primarily Latine communities while working directly with community members.

Her focus has also been on exploring strategies for the long-term sustainment of these intervention programs. Looking ahead, she is committed to continuing her work with underserved communities, with the goal of increasing accessibility to health resources and furthering her education in the fields of Health Psychology and Public Health.
