Bio

Jannet is a second-year Master of Public Health student with a concentration in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science. Her research interests include maternal and reproductive health, as well as cardiovascular disease prevention in Latino communities.

She currently works as a research assistant at the REACH Lab with Faith in Action and is also working on a pilot study to help inform the development of a culturally tailored mental health program for Latinos in church settings.

For her thesis, she is conducting qualitative interviews with church leaders, ministry leaders, and church members to explore opportunities for developing effective church-based mental health programs for Latino populations.
